Welcome

Tayla Howerton is a Certified Equine Sports Massage Therapist (CESMT) based in northern New Jersey. She specializes in using myofascial release & trigger point therapy techniques to soothe pain, improve range of motion, and enhance muscle function in all horses. She grew up in Kentucky and was quickly enveloped in the world of horses. Instead of going into competition, however, her heart pulled her equine wellness & lameness rehab. During her studies at Ohio University's equine program, she was presented an opportunity to take a blended learning massage certification course.

Practicing as an equine massage therapist, she gained an interest in therapeutic technology such as PEMF (pulsed electromagnetic field) therapy and phototherapy. Seeing the incredible results from incorporating these technologies into her services, she wished to make them more accessible for owners and their horses. Northeast EquiWellness Therapy Products was born!
